black hole
Everyone heard about CERN LHC thanks to black hole discussion. Just think what it would be like if there weren’t a discussion like that. Probably hardly few people would know about CERN’s experiments when we compare it actual one. This black hole and as a consequence end of the world arguments attracts most of the attention about CERN all around the world.
Now the count down starts, last tests have been done on CERN.
Perhaps this is my ultimate post before reaching eternity of a black hole.

Cern LHC (Large Hadron Collider)
Cern (LHC) Geniş Hadron Çarpıştırıcı’da sona doğru yaklaştırılıyor. Daha önce yazıda bahsettiğimiz sorunlar sonrasında 2007 sonu için planlanan deney, önümüzdeki 3 hafta içinde gerçekleşecek. Tabii bu deneylerle ilgili karanlık senaryoları da gözardı etmemek gerekir. En dramatik olan, deney esnasında meydana gelme olasılığı olan karadelik. Bu karadeliğin tüm dünyayı yok etmesi senaryonun ve bizim sonumuzu ifade ediyor.
Evrenin oluşumunun benzetiminin gerçekleştireceği, CERN LHC’de gerçekleştirilecek 6 deney var.

Cern Geniş Hadron Çarpıştırıcı
According to a study, a genetic activity pattern is find out which shows distinct difference between lonely people and normal people.
Chronic lonely people’s genetic activity difference especially on immune system. This effect is not a positive one. Social support, having someone to talk may help you to be away from an infection.
Immune system affected by loneliness cannot struggle with sicknesses. People who don’t have relations are more likely to have infections, high blood pressure, and insomnia, in addition to high risk of dying from premature diseases.

MP3 players are used nearly all around us, on streets, on public transportation, even kids walking with their parents. The more noise outside, the higher the mp3 player volume. Most of the owners listen to their mp3s over 85 decibels which can make permanent damage on auditory system. Those findings belonged to the Royal Institute of Deft which warns mp3 player manufacturers to make advanced headphones. The organization points that if the headphones have in-ear filters, the listener won’t need high level of volume, to get rid of noise of his/her surrounding. Only 2 of the producers replied to the institution. Until better headphones are made, be careful with your music volume. Don’t think people are annoyed listening to the music same as you are, but if we can hear it, it is harmful to your ears.

Araştırmalarında fiziğin sınırlarını zorlayan, Fransa-İsviçre sınırındaki Cern Laboratuvarında, Geniş Hadron Çarpıştırıcı’da (LHC Large Hadron Collider) hata oluştu. Çarpıştırıcı parçacık hızlandırmada kullanılıyordu.
Atom altı parçacıkların çarpıştırılması için 27 km uzunluğunda simit şeklinde bir tünelden faydalanılıyor. 
Yukarıdaki resim CERN laboratuvarındaki parçacık tünelini ve 8 adet hızlandırıcı mıknatıs noktasını gösteriyor. Testler esnasında mıknatısları tutan yapının kırıldığı açıklandı. Bu LHC nin 2007 sonlarına doğru planlanmış olan açılışı erteleyip ertelemeyeceği bilinmiyor.
Koyun Dolly klonlayan Roslin Enstitüsü, kansere karşı etkin proteinleri içeren tavuk yumurtaları elde etmeyi başardı. Tavukların genlerinin değiştirilmesi elde edilen bu sonuç sayesinde kanser ilaçlarının üretimindeki maliyetlerin düşürülmesi sağlanabilecek.
